What “Under Review” Means

This status indicates your manuscript has cleared initial screening and is now with an editor for content assessment.

Typical timeline: 4–6 weeks.

During this stage, editors check for narrative structure, pacing, and alignment with Mythos’ publishing lists.

Once reviewed, you’ll receive one of three outcomes: Needs Revisions, Accepted, or Rejected — all visible in your author dashboard.

Revisions come with annotated notes; you can resubmit directly in-portal without re-uploading all files.
